Don't Go Bacon My Heart!
This is an easy recipe but the results are fabulous when combining the rich flavors of your favorite bourbon with the savory taste of bacon and the smokey flavor of our Tomahawk Warriors Blend. For the bacon, any kind of bacon will do but the thicker it is, the less crispy it is so keep that in mind.
Also any kind of bourbon will do but a peaty single malt is just right for bacon as it combines its own smoky notes. For extra sweetness, try a maple bourbon such as J.H. Bards Maple Whiskey which is my all time favorite!
Lastly we are baking our bacon. Just trust the process as baking bacon is so much easier than frying it. Parchment paper and the right temperature (350) is all you need to bake the perfect slice of bacon.
